MK Kahlon's visit to see Pollard in prison canceled

Social Welfare Minister Moshe Kahlon's visit to see Jonathan Pollard in prison in the US was canceled Monday due to the poor medical condition of the Israeli agent.

"Jonathan had hoped until the last minute that he would have the strength for the visit," said his wife Esther. "He really wanted to pass on a personal message through Kahlon to Prime Minister [Binyamin Netanyahu] and ask him to act as quickly as possible for his release," Esther Pollard said.
