MK Schneller condemns harassment of Ne'eman in Hebron

MK Otniel Schneller (Kadima) on Thursday condemned the harassment of Justice Minister Yaakov Ne'eman by right-wing religious extremists.
"The heads of the Jewish communities in Hebron and Kiryat Arba must condemn these fanatics," said Schneller, a former head of the Yesha Council.
The justice minister was praying in the Cave of the Patriarchs when he was accosted. "How dare you come to pray? You are responsible for humiliating Rabbi Dov Lior," they shouted.
Rabbi Lior was arrested on Monday for refusing to honor a long-standing police summons requiring him to answer questions about Torat Hamelekh, a controversial religious book which authorizes the pre-emptive killing on non-Jews in wartime.
