Mofaz: PM traded headlines for US-Israel relations at UNGA

Opposition leader Shaul Mofaz told Army Radio on Sunday morning that Prime Minister Netanyahu failed at advancing US-Israel relations in his attempt to make the headlines at the United Nations General Assembly.
"His speech was a massive failure," Mofaz said. "The main point should have been reaching an agreement with the US. "Netanyahu showed a nice picture, but this is not the right way to create an international coalition against Iran."
As evidence of Netanyahu's failure, Mofaz cited the fact that Obama did no meet the prime minister during his stay in New York.
"Unilateral red lines are not the way to go," he said. "They only convert the issue of Iranian nukes [from an international problem] into an Israeli problem."
Mofaz also decried Netanyahu for "pushing the Palestinian off the table."
"Time is not on our side," he said.
