Morocco to hold referendum on new constitution

Moroccan King Mohammed VI on Wednesday announced that a national referendum will be held in the country on "comprehensive constitutional reform," AFP reported.
The king spoke for the first time following the revolts across the Arab world.
"We have decided to undertake a comprehensive constitutional reform," he was quoted by AFP as saying, underlining his "firm commitment to giving a strong impetus to the dynamic and deep reforms...taking place."
