Mubarak, Biden meet, discuss peace, Gaza embargo, Iran nukes

US Vice President Joe Biden and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak were meeting in Sharm e-Sheikh on Monday, still under the pall of the Gaza flotilla raid fallout.
The two were set to discuss reinvigorating the Israeli-Palestinian peace process – which Egypt has stressed must not be affected by the flotilla incident, ideas concerning easing the embargo on Gaza which Egypt and Israel have enforced since Hamas's takeover of the Strip, and the Iranian nuclear threat and the sanctions being pushed through the security council.
Biden is accompanied on his trip by senior White House staff and National Security officials.
