Muslim Brotherhood criticizes Assad of general amnesty

The Muslim Brotherhood in Syria responded coolly to the general amnesty issued by Syrian President Bashar Assad to political prisoners, including members of the Muslim Brotherhood, saying it was Assad who needed the pardon, Israel Radio reported.
A Brotherhood representative reportedly said that members of the group don't need amnesty, because they are not engaging in criminal activities.
