National Union withdraws no-confidence in respect of PM

The National Union party on Monday withdrew its no-confidence votes in the Knesset, out of respect for Prime Minister Netanyahu, whose father passed away earlier in the day.
The National Union joins Labor and Meretz, who took similar steps earlier Monday.
Benzion Netanyahu had been a prominent Revisionist Zionist activist in the US, had served as secretary to Ze'ev Jabotinsky, and was a writer and editor. He died at the age of 102.
