Netanya road rage incident ends in stabbing

A road rage incident between two truck drivers in Netanya ended in a stabbing on Tuesday.

Police said two truck drivers arrived at the city's new industrial area in order to unload goods, and began arguing over who should unload their vehicle first.

"Quickly, the tones escalated and curses began. At this stage, one of the drivers pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the shoulder," police said.

The wounded driver was evacuated to hospital in light condition.

The suspected attacker, 33, of the Nazareth suburb of Yafia, claims he acted in self defense.
