Netanyahu and Hague hold 'productive' in Tel Aviv

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UK Foreign Secretary William Hague met in Tel Aviv on Thursday morning to discuss a number of issues including Iran, diplomacy in the region, and the contested universal jurisdiction law.

A statement from the government press office called the meeting "productive" and said that "Israel and Great Britain maintain very close ties on strategic issues."

"Israel," the statement added, welcomes the British government's explicit commitment to amend the universal jurisdiction law."
