Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will be leaving for Egypt Tuesday morning for a meeting with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, with the goal of jump-starting the peace process. Industry and Trade Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer (Labor) will accompany the prime minister to Egypt. On Monday, the prime minister said that while Israel had made many gestures toward the Palestinians, they continued to set preconditions for the renewal of talks. "The time for excuses is past," said Netanyahu, and the time has "arrived for action."
