Netanyahu briefs Livni on security

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with opposition leader Tzipi Livni on Friday and briefed her on the security situation, the peace process, and the efforts to prevent the nuclearization of Iran.
Both sides said political issues were not discussed, and there has been no progress toward a potential nationalunity government. Kadima filed a no-confidence motion that will be voted on Monday under the banner “The failure of the Netanyahu government in providing housing, especially to young couples.”
A party spokesman said statements from Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz about there not being a housing shortage proved that the government was indifferent to the needs of couples getting their first start.
