Netanyahu meets with Slovenian PM, pledges cooperation

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met Monday afternoon with Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor in Jerusalem, pledging to work on programs that would see student exchange programs between the two countries and opening the possibility of Israel using the Slovenian Port of Koper for its trade to Europe.
Netanyahu also mentioned Slovenia's recent reconciliation with Croatia, using it as an example for how he models his own attitude toward Israel's own peace talks. "I find that particularly instructive in the task that we face with our Palestinian neighbors, because I believe there is no substitute for direct negotiations to resolve conflicts and achieve peace and I take a leaf from your book."
