Netanyahu says Pollard call still coming

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu promised on Monday to keep the pledge he made two weeks ago to publicly ask US President Barack Obama to release Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard.
When MKs Aryeh Eldad (National Union) and Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) asked Netanyahu at a Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting what was delaying his request, Netanyahu replied that he would have something to announce about the letter in the "near future."
Sources close to the prime minister said that there were currently a couple of formats that they were trying to consolidate, and said that the announcement would come in the "coming days."
