Netanyahu welcomes Canada's suspension of Iran ties

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Friday  welcomed Canada's decision to expel the Iranian ambassador from Ottawa and to close the Canadian embassy in Tehran.
Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird cited Iran's nuclear program, its hostility toward Israel and Iranian military assistance to the government of President Bashar Assad of Syria as reasons for suspending diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic.
