New regulation gives stipends to part-time yeshiva students

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar on Tuesday signed a new regulation allowing students who study only part-time in yeshivas to receive stipends from the state.
The regulation means yeshiva students will not have to study 35 hours a week in order to receive funding from the state. Students who study 18 hours or more will receive some of the stipend.
