Northern man admits to driving without license for 16 years

A Daliat el-Carmel resident was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after a police patrol unit in northern Israel spotted him committing a traffic violation near the Tut junction. Unbeknownst to the policemen who ordered him to stop the car, he may have been implicit in a host of other offenses.
"For 16 years I've been used to driving without a license, I've been doing so since I was 15," the driver told the policemen who questioned him. The suspect, it turned out, had already been apprehended for a similar violation, and a court had ordered his license to be revoked, thereby preventing him from obtaining one.
Police were also shocked to discover a man from Jenin in the passenger seat of the car. Apparently, he was illegally employed by the suspect.
