Nurse arrested for unauthorized sedation of patients

A nurse at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv on Tuesday was arrested under suspicion that he injected patients with tranquilizers without authorization or prescriptions from doctors at the hospital.
The police said they suspect the nurse sedated the patients so that they would be quiet during his shifts.
Police were expected to ask for an extended remand for the suspect in court on Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
