Nurses' strike enters its fourth day following failed talks

The nurses' strike continues on Thursday following another fruitless meeting between the Ministry of Finance and nurse representatives on Wednesday night, Israel Radio reported.

Deputy director of Rambam Hospital, Dr. Yaron Bar-El, told Israel Radio that the state must lean towards the nurses and improve their pay.

The nurses announced they will continue the strike until they receive their demand for higher salaries. Israel Radio reported the Ministry of Finance as saying the nurses demands were excessive.
