Former prime minister Ehud Olmert on Tוuesday attacked state prosecutor Moshe Lador for an interview he gave to the
Haaretz newspaper a few months ago claiming that Olmert took a "scandalous" loan from his confidant Dr. Joseph Elmaliah.
During a testimony in his ongoing corruption trial in the Jerusalem District Court, Olmert said, "I can't get over the feeling that the attempt to attribute acts of fraud [to me] by certain figures has become so obsessive, that they have not hesitated turning to the press in the midst of my trial."
