One killed, one badly hurt in Hod Hasharon crane collapse

A crane collapsed at a construction site in Hod Hasharon, Israel Radio reported Friday morning.
The crane’s operator, a 55-year-old woman, was critically injured; a 35-year-old tractor driver who was nearby when the crane collapsed was also badly hurt and died from his injuries later at the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
Teams from Kfar Saba police were examining whether the crane collapsed due to malfunction or because of the stormy weather.
