Over 800 people visit Joseph's Tomb in Nablus

Over 800 people visited Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus Tuesday evening in honor of the first day of the Hebrew month of Iyar.
Among the visitors were Samaria Regional Council director Gershon Mesika, and Rabbi Dov Wolpa, head of the “Our Land of Israel” movement. Wolpa got a flat tire while passing through the Arab village of Hawarta on the way to the site and needed an IDF escort in order to leave the village, delaying the other visitors by an hour.
At Joseph’s Tomb, the visitors prayed and circled the compound seven times in memory of the conquest of Jericho, which occurred on the first of Iyar according to the Book of Joshua.
