PA denies setting new conditions

The Palestinian Authority denied on Wednesday that it has set new conditions for returning to the negotiating table with Israel.
The denial came in response to a report in Yediot Ahronot that the PA was now demanding that the US boycott products manufactured in Jewish settlements.
“This report is completely untrue,” said PA negotiator Nabil Sha’ath. “We only have two conditions for resuming the peace talks: a total freeze of settlement construction, and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.”
He said that the talks with Israel will remain suspended until the two conditions are met.
