Pakistani politician slain in London to be buried

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — The body of a Pakistani politician stabbed to death in London has been flown home for burial in the country's largest city.
Imran Farooq was killed outside his home in London in September.
The 50-year-old politician had been living there in self-imposed exile since fleeing a crackdown on his party in 1992.
He was a prominent member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, which is allied with President Asif Ali Zardari's government.
The movement's leaders received Farooq's body at the Karachi International Airport on Saturday.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik said tight security arrangements were in place to ensure peace in Karachi, where news of Farooq's killing had triggered rioting.
