Palestinian launches failed knife attack on cop in Hebron

A Palestinian attempted to stab a policeman in Hebron but was arrested without causing any injuries on Tuesday. Judea and Samaria Police said a policeman from the Hebron station was threatened by a 22-year-old Palestinian while on patrol, at Zif Junction.
When the suspect produced a knife and threatened the officer, the officer pushed the suspect away, reached for his firearm and ordered the suspect to throw down the weapon.
The policeman gained control of the suspect, who is a resident of the West Bank village of Samua. The suspect was arrested and taken for questioning.
