Partial solar eclipse will be visible Tuesday morning

On Tuesday morning, a partial eclipse of the sun will be visible from Israel, across Europe and as far east as India. In Israel, the Sun will be 33° high with over 55 percent coverage at maximum. The whole event will take about three hours. It will begin at 9.09 a.m. Tuesday morning and continue through 12.16 p.m. with the high point at 10.41 a.m.
Because the Sun is too bright to look at safely, special solar filters or projection methods (such as looking through the pinhole of a shoe box with the sun behind) should always be used to protect the eyes. Never use sunglasses or look at the eclipse directly. A cloudy sky will make it impossible to see the heavenly event.
