Peres pardons four police men from Nahariya

President Shimon Peres agreed on Thursday to release Yossi Levi, Eldad Hadad, Rami Moshe and Yaniv Ashur, the four policemen from Naharaiya, who served two thirds of their one year sentence a few days prior to the actual date on which they were due to be released so that they could spend Pessah with their families.
The four were convicted for placing bombs under the car and in the home of underworld figure Michael Mor who had threatened the safety of their families. Peres pardoned the four on the recommendations of the Prison Services Release Committee and Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman.
