'Peres says gaps in Israelis, Palestinian talks aren't big'

The gaps in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations are not big, President Shimon Peres said Monday, according to Army Radio.
Speaking at the Academic Arab College in Haifa, Peres reportedly noted that he got this impression from conversations he had had with leaders, and said Israel must take advantage of the opportunity to reach an agreement soon. He added that the biggest challenge in Israel is erasing the gaps between Arab and Jewish communities in Israel: "There is no peace without equality, this is not just economic but first and foremost, moral."
