Peres: Settlers would not use peace deal to start civil war

President Shimon Peres said Tuesday that if a future peace agreement is reached with the Palestinians, then the majority of settlers would accept the decision and it would not lead to civil war.
Peres made the comments at a ceremony where he was awarded honorary citizenship of the city of Ashkelon.
He admitted that "there may be difficulties in such a condition that the settlers may blame everyone, however even if there is disagreement - it's okay."
