'Physicians for Human Rights wins Alternative Nobel Prize'

The Association of Physicians for Human Rights, located in Tel Aviv, has won the 2010 Alternative Nobel Prize (Right Livelihood), according to a press release sent by the Gush Shalom organization.
The association was specifically recognized for dispatching mobile health clinics to "Palestinian villages under occupation which suffer from lack of adequate medical services," said Gush Shalom.
The organization will be awarded the prize in a ceremony at the Swedish Parliament on December 6th, four days before the official Nobel Peace Price will be awarded.
