PM attempts to settle southern agricultural water crisis

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has ordered his office's director general Eyal Gabai to settle the water crisis of farmers in the western Negev, after the Water Authority's announcement Sunday to cut water supplies, Israel Radio reported. The Water Authority claimed that farmers had gone above their water quota.
Netanyahu reportedly told Haim Yelin, the Eshkol Regional Council head, that it is insufferable that farmers would need to cope with water sanctions on top of the already pervasive security issues in the area.
