PM berates Palestinians

Prime Minster Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday criticized the Palestinian leadership for deliberately refusing to engage in serious peace talks with Israel. "It seems as though the Palestinians have assumed a strategy of postponing negotiations with Israel to avoid dealing with Israel's demands and those of the international community, which necessitate their concessions," he said at the conclusion of a security cabinet meeting. "But that is a mistake; there will be no real solution without direct negotiations with Israel, which will lead to agreements and arrangements between the sides," Netanyahu said.
