PM praises Dutch support in stopping nuclear Iran

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu praised the joint Dutch-Israeli stand against a nuclear Iran during a speech at the Portuguese Synagogue in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
Netanyahu thanked the Dutch for their role in countering the Iranian nuclear threat, saying that sanctions must be imposed against Iran's central bank. "I think those sanctions should be applied now."
The Netherlands and Israel, he said, "also stand together on the need for peace with the Palestinians," recalling that Israel places no preconditions on the start of negotiations. But, he added, "We cannot end the negotiations until we start them."
Addressing Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, the prime minister said, "Don't walk away from peace. Continue the negotiations."
