PM, Steinitz meet Eini, Brosh over minimum wage increase

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz met with Histadrut chairman Ofer Eini and Manufacturers Association Chairman Shraga Brosh in Jerusalem Tuesday morning to discuss an increase in the minimum wage and the rising prices of basic goods, Army Radio reported.
According to the report, the meeting was aimed at preventing a planned general strike through the creation of an agreed-upon compensation package following the increasing prices of gasoline, water, electricity and bread.
