PM's plan for illegal worker detention center to face vote

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday decided to bring his plan to build a detention facility for illegal migrants in the South to a vote at Sunday's cabinet meeting.
The plan is expected to cost NIS 630 million, which will be in addition to the NIS 1.5 billion which has already been invested in the security fence on the Egyptian border.
"Israel is a small country. We cannot allow a flood of infiltrating illegal workers. It is a threat to our society, economy and security. Therefore. we must accelerate our handling of the problem," Netanyahu stated.
