Police: Body found in Golan probably a Syrian soldier

Police said Thursday that a body found in an old mine field in the Golan Heights on Wednesday most probably belongs to a Syrian soldier, but they won@@@t know for certain until forensic examinations are complete.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the remains likely belonged to a Syrian soldier, not only because of the area of the Golan Heights in which they were found, but also because of the uniform found next to the body.
A man walking in the area on Wednesday found the remains and contacted police who took until Thursday to reach the site because of the presence of mines.
