Police commissioner visits village of Tuba Zanghariya

Police Insp.-Gen. Yochanan Danino visited the Beduin village of Tuba Zanghariya in the Galilee on Tuesday, and met with local representatives to discuss the recent arson attack on the community's mosque and the unrest that followed.
"They met to try and understand what happened and to keep up a dialogue," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told The Jerusalem Post.
Danino vowed to invest great resources in "arresting the arson suspects quickly and bringing them to justice." Two suspects are so far under arrest for the incident. Several residents of the village were also arrested on suspicion of rioting.
Danino toured the whole of the northern district on Tuesday together with district head Cmdr. Roni Atiya, and examined strategies by police to lower crime rates across the area.
