Police launch investigation into Jaffa shooting

Police have launched a homicide investigation into the shooting death of a 22-year-old man on a Jaffa street.

The gunshot victim was found by police shortly after midnight on Friday, after local residents on Jaffa's Yeruham Street reported hearing several gun shots.

Paramedics attempted to revive the victim and rushed him to an area hospital, but he died in the ambulance.

Police said no further details would be released at this stage.
