Police say woman used grenade, firearm, to try to harm ex

A lovers quarrel between two women from central Israel took a turn for the worse this week, with one woman suspected of using grenades and firearms to take revenge on her ex.

According to police, one of the women, a 39-year-old resident of Holon, called police late Tuesday night after she heard an explosion outside her house. Officers who arrived at the scene identified an exploded grenade outside the house, and immediately alunched a search for the womans’ ex, a 26-year-old woman from Ramat Gan who has yet to be located.

Just a few nights earlier, on Saturday, the woman told police that as she was walking out of her house in Holon when someone opened fire on her.In neither instance was the woman injured or any damage caused to her house.
