'Post' set to co-sponsor series of debates on US election

The Jerusalem Post, in conjunction with iVoteIsrael and the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel (AACI), is set to sponsor a series of debates on the upcoming US election between the Republicans Abroad Israel (RAI) and the Democrats Abroad Israel (DAI).

According to Elie Pieprz, National Director of iVoteIsrael,“With the heightened interest in the US elections, American citizens living in Israel have been seeking forums where they can learn more about the issues and dynamics of the US election." The debates, therefore, will provide "a more intimate examination of the race,” he explained.

The debates will be held Sunday, September 23 in Beersheva and Monday, September 24 in Ra'anana, as well as, Thursday, October 18 in Haifa and Sunday, October 28 in Jerusalem.
