PRC takes credit for Grad rocket fired toward Beersheba

The Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) on Sunday morning announced that it had launched one Grad rocket which exploded near the southern Israeli city of Beersheba early Sunday morning.

The PRC is one of several smaller Palestinian factions in Gaza that often operate independently of Hamas.

Palestinians fired three Grad rockets and two Kassam rockets into southern Israel overnight Saturday and Sunday morning, threatening a tenuous ceasefire implemented after a serious escalation earlier this week.
