Privately, Argentinean FM denies 'bomb probe' report

Argentinean Foreign Minister Hector Timerman denied in private meetings in Jerusalem over the last two days that Argentina offered to drop probes into the 1990s bombing of Jewish targets in Buenos Aires in exchange for improving economic ties with Iran.
Timerman, who has pointedly and even angrily refrained from publicly relating to a report that appeared two weeks ago in the Argentinean paper Perfil, told interlocutors during his visit here Monday and Tuesday that the report was so incorrect that it did not deserve a denial.  He called the report "insulting."
