'Real Democracy' sees Israelis donate vote to Palestinians

Some Israeli citizens are donating their right to vote in the upcoming January 22 elections to their Palestinian neighbors via Facebook in a political initiative called Real Democracy.
The initiative has over 1,550 followers and is allowing Israelis to "donate" their votes for the Palestinian cause, giving their neighbors an opportunity to participate in the elections on Tuesday in what founders describe as an "electoral rebellion."
The initiative started with a group of Palestinians and Israelis seeking equal civic rights for citizens. They state: "We, Israeli citizens, will give up our own votes and instead vote as our Palestinian counterparts tell us to. This is an act of refusal, a democratic rebellion."
