Rebels say NATO air strikes hit besieged Libyan town

ALGIERS - NATO air strikes hit positions held by Libyan government forces attacking the rebel-held town of Zintan, south-west of Tripoli, a rebel spokesman said on Sunday.
The spokesman, called Abdulrahman, told Reuters by telephone he heard aircraft overhead, followed by two explosions, one of which destroyed a tank belonging to government forces near the town.
