Religious Zionist leaders support doctors strikes

Religious Zionist leaders on Wednesday signed a letter in support of the doctors strikes calling their complaints about working hours appropriate both morally and halachicly, Israel Radio reported.
Signatories of the support letter to the doctors included Rabbi Haim Druckman, Rabbi Dov Lior, and Rabbi Yaakov Ariel, according to the report.
The role of doctors, residents, and interns is to save lives, and therefore irregular work hours are problematic both morally and halachicly, the letter was reported as saying.
