Remand of alleged polygamist Goel Ratzon extended by 9 days

The remand of Goel Ratzon was extended by nine days on Sunday at the Tel Aviv Magistrate Court.
Ratzon, who fathered dozens of children from at least 17 women, is suspected of a series of rape, harassment and enslavement offenses committed over a period of more than a decade.
Ratzon's remand extension on Sunday was the second since his arrest earlier this month. Judge Rachel Greenberg said Ratzon's "slick tongue was the tool with which he collected all those women. This is why he is dangerous and must not be released."
During the discussion, the police representative said interrogators found more evidence of sexual assaults allegedly committed by Ratzon, which were not known at the time of his arrest.
