Report: Greece offers to send flotilla aid to Gaza

Greece offered on Sunday to transport the humanitarian aid to Gaza along with Greek diplomats and under UN supervision, Israel Radio reported a statement from the Greek Foreign Ministry as saying Sunday.
According to Israel Radio, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou spoke with Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas Sunday about sending the aid under the guise of the UN, and Abbas expressed support for the plan.
The flotilla, scheduled to set sail for the Gaza Strip last week, experienced logistical and bureaucratic delays that kept the mission at bay.
