Report: Hezbollah may attack Western targets within week

Hezbollah is planning to carry out a sabotage against Western targets within in the week a source told the Arabic-language news daily Beirut Observer.

According to the report, Western intelligence agencies have picked up on recent abnormal movements among Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard cadres.

The Beirut Observer said the the source claimed the attacks would be carried out in order to divert attention away from the International Court's investigation into the assassination Rafik Hariri, who was killed in 2005, and in which several Hezbollah members are expected to be accused of involvement.
