Report: Iran says seizes Kurdish rebel camp

TEHRAN - Iranian forces said they seized control of a major base of the Kurdish rebel PJAK group near the country's border with Iraq, the official Irna news agency reported on Monday.
The reported clash came a week after Iran said it would step up military action against the group, which is seeking greater autonomy for Kurdish areas in the country.
The report could not be confirmed independently by Reuters.
"In clashes between Iran's Revolutionary Guards forces and PJAK members, many terrorists were killed," Revolutionary Guards commander Delavar Ranjbarzadeh said, according to Irna.
