Report: Iraq arrests a top al-Qaida leader in Baghdad

The Iraqi counter-terrorism unit arrested a top al-Qaida leader in Baghdad and seized a list of names and locations of other organization operatives, Al Jazeera reported on Sunday.
The al-Qaida leader's name was not released because Iraqi security sources are still investigating him, according to Al Jazeera's report.
According to Iraqi media, the man in custody is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the ehad of an al-Qaida umbrella group called the Islamic State of Iraq.
