Report: Israel revokes pardon of former al-Aksa commander

Israel canceled the pardon of former al-Aksa Martyrs' Brigade commander in Jenin Zakaria Zubeidi and ordered him to turn himself in to Palestinian Authority security forces, the Ma'an News Agency reported on Thursday.
Israel granted Zubeidi amnesty three years ago as part of a gesture to the Palestinian Authority. He had served as the head off the al-Aksa Brigades in Jenin during the Second Intifada.
Zubeidi told Ma'an that his pardon had been canceled despite the fact that he had upheld all the conditions of his amnesty.
According to Zubeidi, Israel informed the PA on Thursday that it would detain him if he did not turn himself in.
